The Extreme Heat Summit and Workshop was a two day event that urged government action to tackle the challenges of extreme heat. Attendees explored federal policy ideas and innovative strategies to enhance heat resilience during the event. The ADWM team was contracted to manage the event’s logistics, ensuring a seamless operation.

With only a short lead time, our team had to swiftly coordinate with vendors and venue staff to ensure all logistical aspects were in place. We worked closely with the catering team to ensure timings, headcount, and dietary requirements were confirmed and accounted for.

The registration process consisted of pre-event confirmations and ensuring all attendees had correct dietary and name badge information. The team adopted a flexible approach to account for potential walk-in attendees, promptly accommodating registration fluctuations.

Despite only being brought on this project with a two-week lead time, the conference proceeded without logistical hitches. Attendees provided enthusiastic feedback for the execution of the event. The ADWM team was thrilled to be a part of the Extreme Heat Summit and Workshop continuing our partnership with FAS and forging new ties with ASU KER.
